Here's a 24K gold-plated iPhone 7 with a dragon and diamonds on the back

The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus duo is now already available in the countries from the first wave of availability with the rest of the world following next week. Sure enough, luxury customization studio Karalux out of Vietnam has started offering its usual 24K gold-plating service for those who find Apple's color options somewhat lacking... exclusivity.

The gold-plating process takes between 6 and 8 hours through 20 different stages. To protect the precious metal from scratches, a final nano-coating is applied on top. You can further customize the look of your gold iPhone with a laser engraving of you name, logo, or signature.

Prices start at $1,900 for a 32GB iPhone 7, the 128GB version goes for $2,400, while the 256GB top-model is $2,600. Add $100 to each of these prices if you prefer the iPhone 7 Plus.

Mind you, those are the basic gold-plated models, if there can even be such a thing. If you want to go completely bonkers, you can order a 24K dragon and a diamond encrusted logo on the back. That'll cost you, obviously - a dragon-clad 128GB iPhone 7 has a price tag of $4,000, with $500 more for the Plus.
